16 April 2017 Crime News

An unidentified Egyptian was arrested and released after a drone equipped with camera and memory card reportedly crashed into the wall of the Central Bank of Kuwait (CBK), reports Al-Rai daily.

This happened when guards at the CBK saw the damaged drone and called the Operations Room of the Ministry of Interior. Police investigations revealed the drone belongs to a company that has a license to hover over Mubarakiya. It was reportedly lost due to bad weather conditions and the Egyptian operating the drone had immediately reported the matter to the Interior Ministry. He was released after ensuring there was no foul play. He also produced the licence which showed it was authorized to hover over Mubarakiya.
