Egyptian Universities In Kuwait Selling Bachelor Degree For Kd 1,500
It seems the phenomenon of shops selling fake certificates has resurfaced, reports Al- Qabas daily. According to the daily a training institute that claims to be the agent of one of the accredited Egyptian universities in Kuwait helps those wishing to obtain university degrees for money. KD 1,500 for a Bachelor degree.
Tracing the advertisement placed by this institute, the Ministry of Higher Education and the Public Authority for Applied Education and Training encountered the institute in their quest to control the quality of education and to verify the validity of degrees and have taken legal action against it.
Al-Qabas called on the institute’s official, who stressed that the applicant has only to bring his official papers, such as the original secondary certificate and identification papers, and through the institute, in accordance with the protocol of cooperation between him and the university in question, all necessary registration procedures are completed without the student going to Egypt.
The BA student must attend 3 lectures per week, one hour per lecture, for six courses. He will be tested at the institute, but the student doing the Masters must go to Egypt only twice during the study period – first time to undergo a test on the topic of Masters thesis, the second to discuss it.
