Egyptian Rampages; Stabs Himself In Front Of Passers-by

On Omar Mahmud Street in the Faisal neighbourhood of Giza, Cairo southwest, a young Egyptian barber stabbed himself in front of a crowd of bystanders, local media reported.

He suffered a throat cut after stabbing himself with a sharp-edged object to end his rampage on Tuesday.

It has been reported that the unstable man stabbed himself in the neck in front of onlookers while he was screaming in the middle of the street.

He was taken to the hospital by police after arriving at the scene and is still being treated there. Public prosecutors will investigate the stabbing rampage in an effort to identify the motive behind the man's health condition.
