Egyptian Expat Arrested For Possessing Of Illicit Drug Known As Strawberry

Officers from Ahmadi Security Directorate chased an Egyptian expatriate on foot and arrested him in possession of illicit drug known as ‘Strawberry’. A security source said the officers were on a round of Fahaheel area when they came across the suspect and asked for his civil ID.

To their surprise, he tried to escape on foot but they chased and arrested him. They went ahead and conducted a search on him and found six pills of strawberry hidden inside a packet of cigarette. He told the officers that the pills belonged to a colleague working with him in a coffee shop. He was referred with the contraband to Drug Prosecution.
