Egyptian Contractor Says Savings Stolen

An unknown individual withdrew KD 2,005 from an Egyptian contractor’s bank account, reports Al-Anba daily. According to sources, the victim explained to securitymen that he had lost his wallet, which contained his ATM card and other personal documents as well as the pin number of his bank account written on a piece of paper. He later received several messages from the bank to notice about the money withdrawals. He revealed that he has lost all his savings. Securitymen launched investigations to find and arrest the suspect.

Drugs with Egyptian: An Egyptian expatriate was arrested in Farwaniya area in possession of drugs, reports Al-Rai daily. According to security sources, Farwaniya securitymen were patrolling the area when they noticed a man trying to run away as soon as he saw the patrol vehicle. They stopped him and noticed his disoriented state. They checked him and found drugs in his possession. He was arrested and referred to the Drugs Control General Department for necessary legal action.
