Egypt Imposes Visa Fees On Kuwaitis And Gulf Nationals

Egypt imposed a visa fee for all Gulf countries citizens as of today.
The Egyptian Minister of Interior, Major General Mahmoud Tawfiq, issued a decision to collect the entry fee from citizens of the Gulf Cooperation Council countries (Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates, the Kingdom of Bahrain, Kuwait, and the Sultanate of Oman) in addition to Qatar, which has applied this procedure to its citizens since 2017.

The decision did not specify the value of The fee that will be collected against the visa, but about $ 25 from non-exempt visitors is currently collected for the tourist visa for Egypt for one trip (about 8 Kuwaiti dinars).
And the Egyptian minister issued another decision to exempt from the entry visa fee tourists coming to the country on direct flights to the cities and resorts of 3 tourist governorates, which are South Sinai, Matrouh and the Red Sea, until October 31, 2020
