Egypt Did Not Export Contaminated Dairy Products To Kuwait

The Public Authority for Food and Nutrition stated after what was recently published in newspapers and media outlets about the Egyptian regulatory authorities raiding a food facility for producing contaminated dairy products unfit for human consumption, PAFN contacted the National Authority for Food Safety in the Arab Republic of Egypt, which confirmed that no contaminated foodstuffs had been exported outside the Arab Republic of Egypt, including the State of Kuwait.

Al-Jarida quoting sources from the Authority confirmed all consignments imported into the country are subject to tests to ensure their suitability for human consumption and their compliance with the approved standard specifications in the best interests of the health and safety of consumers.
