‘education’ Stresses On Adherence To Health Requirements
The Ministry of Education has warned school administrations against the school canteens violating health protocols saying the school director will have to bear up to 1,000 dinars fine in the event of non-compliance with health regulations.
The Director of the Educational Activities Department at the Ministry, Maryam Al-Enezi, said “the instructions and requirements contained in the guideline for school canteens are enforceable, to preserve the health and safety of students,” noting that the school director will be fined up to thousand dinars in the event of non-compliance with these instructions, reports Al-Rai daily.
Al-Enezi added, was speaking during a meeting yesterday at Sharifa Al-Awadi Secondary School, on health requirements for school canteens, in the presence of the Assistant Undersecretary of the Public Authority for Food and Nutrition, Nawal Al-Hamad, who said “the ministry has not yet allowed the opening of school canteens, but allowed only mobile canteens” to prevent gatherings as the health requirement do not permit this.
