Education Minister Orders Investigation Into Law Violation During Lecture

Kuwait University administration has been asked by the Education, Higher Education and Scientific Research Minister, Dr. Ali Al-Mudhaf, to form an investigation committee to determine if the doctor who showed videos during lecture at the College of Medicine has violated Law No.  76 of 2019.

According to a local Arabic newspaper, the minister has requested a report on the investigations as soon as possible.

Kuwait University's Acting Director-General, Dr. Bader Al-Badawi, said all measures will be taken by the investigation committee and those who are found guilty will be referred to a disciplinary board; he stressed that the university will not hesitate to take appropriate action and that violating public behavior is unacceptable.

Al-Badawi emphasized Kuwait University's concern for transparency, impartiality and legal frameworks, stating his respect and appreciation for all its members, academics and academic staff members as well as the administrative bodies.
