Dust Storm Temporarily Halts Airport Traffic In Kuwait

Due to a dust storm that reduced visibility throughout Kuwait, flights to and from International Airport Kuwait were temporarily stop on Monday.

According to Imad Al-Jalawi, Deputy DG for Air Navigation Services at the DGCA, flights have been affected by the present weather conditions dust waves.

The resumption of normal aviation will take place as soon as visibility has improved, Al-Jalawi. Said

In addition, Kuwait is currently experiencing low visibility and strong wwinds more than 50 kilometers per hour.
