Duo Sued Over Out Of Wedlock Baby After A Month Long Investigation

The mother of a baby born out of wedlock has been arrested after a month-long investigation. The woman, who is a Kuwaiti national, gave birth to the boy following illegal relations with a stateless man (bidoun).

The police arrested them and referred them to the Public Prosecution to face legal charges. The newborn baby was found abandoned near the garden of a house in Sulaibhat last month.

She admitted to giving birth to the child following a relationship with the 'bidoun' whom she came to know. She then handed over the newborn baby to her sister’s friend who could not take care of him and alerted the police.
