Drunken Indian Driver Arrested For Hitting The Vehicle

A drunken Indian man lost control over his car when he encountered patrolmen on the way to Sabah Al-Salem area, reports Al-Rai daily. In attempt to escape, the Indian motorist hit and damaged the patrol car causing slight injuries to the officers who were inside the car. The two injured officers endured their injuries and managed to arrest the suspect. A security source said the suspect was in a disoriented state during arrest, and the officers discovered he was driving under the infl uence of alcohol. They took him first to the Abdullah Al-Salem Police Station and later referred him to the Criminal Evidences Department for further investigation.
