Drugs Worth Around 160,000 Kd Confiscated

Drug Enforcement General Department arrested a drug dealer with 15 kilograms of hashish and 3 kilograms of marijuana with a market value of about 100,000 and 50,000 dinars, in addition to seizing two firearms in the possession of the accused.

The arrest of the accused came after investigations carried out by the men of the General Department of Narcotics Control and in coordination with the Public Prosecution, and the accused was referred to the jurisdiction.

On the other hand, criminal security men managed to arrest a citizens in the his 30’s after he tried to smuggle narcotic drugs with an estimated market value of 9,200 dinars, thus the value of drugs seized by the criminal security sector during the past two days is about 160,000 dinars.

According to a security source, a report received in the criminal security sector states that a package of suspected drug had arrived, as an ambush was carried out and citizens were arrested, the a 24 year old, and the second 26 year old. Inside the parcels they found 10 bags of marijuana and other bags with wax of marijuana was been hidden in nutritional supplement packages. The estimated marijuana which amounts to 380 grams, is 1200 dinars, while marijuana wax weighs 53 grams its market value is estimated at 8000 dinars.
