Drug Traffickers In Police Custody

An unidentified Asian man and his live-in female partner are in police custody for trafficking in opium.

Al-Anba has learned personnel from the Criminal Investigations Department acting on information that the couple was involved in the illicit trade sent a fake buyer and caught the man in the act of selling 100 grams of the drug.

The man then led police to his apartment where the CID men found another quantity (2 kilos) of the drug and also took into custody his girlfriend believed to be his accomplice. They are handed over to the concerned authorities.
