Drug Peddlers Nabbed

Personnel from the Criminal Investigations Department have arrested two people a Kuwaiti and a Bangladeshi in two separate incidents for trafficking in meth. After taking legal procedures, police raided the home of the citizen in Sabahiya and seized from him shabu and KD 1,500 cash, believed to be proceeds from the sale of drugs. In the case of the Bangladeshi police set a trap for him in Jleeb Al-Shuyoukh and seized from him one kilo of marijuana which he had smuggled into the country from Bangladesh. The contraband and the traffickers have been referred to the General Department for Drugs Control.
