Drug Peddler Escaped Arrest By Officers

A drug peddler escaped arrest by officers from the Farwaniya Security Command, leaving behind four bags of hashish valued at KD 70,000 in Ishbiliya. A security source said the officers apprehended a youth in disoriented state who confessed receiving the supply of drugs from a man in Jahra area. Undercover agents contacted the alleged supplier and sealed a deal for the delivery of some drugs in Ishbiliya at a fixed price. The suspect vanished into thin air upon delivery of the contraband. The illicit items were taken into police custody. Detectives have since opened an investigation to trail and arrest him.
