Dr.. Muhammad Al-barjas ... The First Kuwaiti To Receive The Pfizer Vaccine
D. Muhammad Saud Al-Barjas, a consultant cardiologist at the British King's College Hospital in London, made the Pfizer vaccine against the emerging corona virus, to be the first Kuwaiti to receive the vaccine, and he will receive the second dose 28 days after the first dose.
In an interview with Al-Qabas, Dr. Al-Barjas explained that he was among the first batch of medical workers in Britain who were included in receiving the vaccine, indicating that he took this step without any fear, because he was familiar with the experiments that were conducted on the vaccine, as well as his keenness on Himself and his patients, as he deals with mostly elderly patients, pointing out that he is always keen on taking seasonal flu vaccinations.
Dr. Al-Barjas said that receiving the vaccine did not accompany him with any symptoms, except for some natural pain at the site of receiving the dose, and soon it disappeared, indicating that he and those who received the dose were put under observation for 15 minutes, and filled out questionnaires to ensure that there was no allergy, and that they did not receive the influenza vaccine 3 weeks before receiving "Pfizer", and they did not have "Corona" 3 months before receiving the vaccine.
Al-Barjas stated that receiving the vaccine would not prevent him from continuing with health precautions and social distancing.
