Discussions Focus On Future Potential, Requirements Of New Delhi & Kuwait
His Excellency Ambassador Sanjay Bhattacharya, Secretary, Ministry of External Affairs, Government of Republic of India, during his visit to Kuwait, accompanied by Indian Ambassador to Kuwait, HE Sibi George, visited the headquarters of Reconnaissance Research – an active independent think tank – HE met with its founder and CEO, Abdulaziz Al-Anjeri, and his deputy, Yousef Al-Ghussein, in addition to a number of selected invited attendees who discussed local and Geo-political affairs in a Chatham house format. The discussions were extensive and focused on current developments, especially the future potential, requirements of India and Kuwait.
His Excellency Ambassador Bhattacharya reviewed the challenges and possible opportunities for the region in light of the latest political and economic developments. He emphasized on the wide horizon of possibilities for India-Kuwait partnership of future, anchored in the deep-rooted and special relations the two countries share. His Excellency Ambassador Bhattacharya stressed on establishing more bridges of communication and interdependence between the two countries that will help future endeavors for a stable and secure partnership. He added, “We are pleased to visit Reconnaissance Research to discuss mechanisms of working together to enhance relations between our two countries and we are thrilled with the center’s serious and professional approach .”
For his part, Al-Anjeri expressed his appreciation with this high level meeting, saying: “We were very honored to receive the guest of Kuwait, His Excellency Ambassador Sanjay Bhattacharya, and I would like to express my gratitude for his interest in our center, to aid in achieving more common goals that both our countries seek. We will work with His Excellency to bring together a group of people who believe in the principles of mutual cooperation, anchored in sustainable development and the transformations that it entails. “ His Excellency the Ambassador of India, Sibi George appreciated the frank exchange of views and mutual understanding. At the end of the meeting, the two parties agreed to continue communication with each other to enhance joint cooperation further.
