Discussion On Transition To 5th Phase Of Return To Normalcy Plan To Be Held On Sunday
The weekly cabinet meeting that usually takes place every Monday will be shifted to Sunday, to allow the government to attend three sessions of the National Assembly for discussing budgets and closing accounts, on Mondays, Tuesdays and Wednesdays, Al-Rai reported, quoting a government source.
Among the most important files on the Council of Ministers’ discussion agenda is the evaluation of the fourth stage of the plan to return to normal life according to health indicators, in preparation for the approval of the transition to the fifth stage.
Several Arab and Western countries are showing signs of a second wave of the coronavirus epidemic and as a result, the authorities of some countries were forced to re-impose preventive measures, Al Rai said, quoting health sources, adding “the health conditions in the country are good and reassuring, and that the infection rates are within the expected numbers.”
The daily reported that there should not be complacency and laxity in implementing health measures, stressing the need for citizens and expats to adhere to social responsibility and the necessary awareness to limit the spread of the coronavirus infection. On the return of commercial flights, the daily said, referring sources that the travel procedures will undergo constant continuation evaluation including updating them and reviewing the list of the 32 country entry ban from which travelers are prohibited from entering Kuwait, based on the reports of the health authorities regarding the coronavirus situation in those countries.
