Dgca: Entry For 'non-vaccinated' Only For Kuwaiti Citizen

17 February 2022 Kuwait

According to a DGCA circular published today, Kuwaiti citizens are the only ones who are eligible for entry into Kuwait if they have not been vaccinated with Covid.

Kuwait International Airport has sent a circular to all airlines operating at the airport notifying them that from next Sunday, February 20, onwards, passengers are allowed to leave Kuwait without any health requirements relating to the Corona virus, as long as they meet the health requirements for entering the country where they are travelling.

For arriving passengers in Kuwait who have not taken the approved Corona virus vaccine, the circular states that "Kuwaiti Nationals," who are entering Kuwait without vaccination, must submit a negative PCR examination certificate 72 hours prior to flight to prove they are not infected with the Corona virus. This procedure does not apply to children under the age of 16. It did not mention anything about non-Kuwaitis.
