Detected Air Pollution In Form Of Foul Odors - Environ Activists

Environmental activists Tuesday detected air pollution in the form of foul odors similar to the smell of electric circuit fault in Hawally Governorate, as well as Andalous and Jaber Al-Ahmad City, citing the oil sector to be the source of the air pollution, reports Al-Qabas daily.

According to informed sources from Environment Public Authority (EPA), the concerned authorities have been informed about the air pollution. Specialized teams affiliated to Air Quality Department toured a number of areas for detecting and monitoring the pollution through the stations located throughout the country. They revealed that the air quality station of an embassy situated in Bayan area recorded a remarkable rise in the rate of air pollution, describing it online as unhealthy
