Deptmnt Of Religious Media Has Announced The Launch Of Annual Ramadan Contest
The Department of Religious Media at Ministry of Awqaf and Islamic Affairs has announced the launch of its annual Ramadan contest, which will be held from Saturday, May 27 to the end of the month of Ramadan, reports Al- Seyassah daily.
The department affirmed that the winners of the contest will get valuable prizes, stressing that the contest is in line with the ministry’s strategy which is aimed at enhancing knowledge and culture aspects among all segments of the society especially the youths who represent the basic pillar of development for any nation.
Acting Director of the department Salman Al-Khulaifan said both citizens and residents can participate in the contest, provided they are followers of the ministry’s Instagram account “Red Awqaf”, adding that the contest is open to all age groups. He highlighted the importance of such competitions and their role in motivating youths to read and research. Al-Khulaifan called on those concerned with religious education to support such competitions especially considering the fact that the social media is fl ooded with non-beneficial competitions. He insisted that the answers to all 30 questions must be sent after Eid Al-Fitr directly to redawqaf@gmail.com along with the participant’s name and telephone number, adding that any queries and observations in this regard should also be sent to this email address.
