Departures Do Not Need To Register On The Kuwait Mosafer Platform

The official spokesman for the Directorate General of Civil Aviation, Saad Al-Otaibi, said that the  Kuwait Airport is functioning normally, following the requirements and decisions issued by the Council of Ministers and the Corona Emergency committee, Al-Rai reported.

Al-Otaibi told the daily the number of flights departing from and coming to Kuwait Airport did not witness any change on the second day, as well as the operational capacity, remained as specified by the Council of Ministers without any change.

He pointed out that departures from Kuwait International Airport do not currently require them to register on the Kuwait Mosafer platform, but on the condition that they obtain health insurance covering the travel period and sign the departure pledge, noting that since the recent amendments were made to the Kuwait Mosafer platform and the start of new procedures for travel through Kuwait Airport, complaints have decreased significantly, as the platform has become more effective due to the facilities and updates provided through it.

Al-Otaibi called on citizens and residents to fully comply with the procedures announced by the Council of Ministers regarding travel, whether upon leaving or coming to Kuwait, to enjoy a smooth and safe journey.
