Department Deals With Fraud In Salary Certificates Swiftly

The director of the Hawalli Governorate Labor Department at the Public Authority for Manpower, Muhammad Bourqba, announced that there were some manipulation and forgery cases in salary certificates perpetuated by representatives of companies discovered and legal measures were taken against them, Al Jarida daily reports.

Bourguba pointed out that if there are suspicions about the validity of any certificate, the  concerned labor inspection department is contacted to confirm the validity of its information.

He noted during the interview with the daily that about 700 transactions are completed in all departments, most of them related to cancellation and transfer of permits within the private sector and renewal of work permits, and the department completed 18,801 transactions since the beginning of last July until the 17 August, 2020, 2221 of which are related to cancellation and transfer within the private sector, in addition to 15,308 transfer of visas transactions from the government sector to the private sector, in addition to other transactions.
