Customs Seized 30,000 Amphetamine Pills
Customs officers foiled an attempt to smuggle 30,000 amphetamine pills. They became suspicious of an Asian passenger who arrived in Kuwait International Airport and found the narcotics pills on screening his luggage.
The smuggler was referred immediately to the anti-narcotics and liquor department to face legal action.
Kuwaiti authorities have recently stepped up measures at all entry points to thwart security threats and smuggling activities.
