Customs Officers Seized Narcotic Pills

Customs officers at the Abdali border post have foiled the attempt of an Iraqi man to smuggle 87,056 narcotic pills into the country, reports Al-Anba daily. The daily added, the pills were found hidden in a secret compartment of his Jeep. It has been reported the contraband was discovered by the sophisticated detection devices that are being used at border points. The contraband and the smuggler have been referred to the General Department for Drugs Control.
