Criminal Security Officer Arrested Drug Trafficker

Officers from the General Department of Criminal Security arrested an unidentified individual in possession of drugs. In a press statement issued by Ministry of Interior, the General Department of Public Relations and Media Security explained that the officers, after receiving information about the suspect’s involvement in illegal activities, obtained a warrant from the legal authority and raided his house to discover large number of intoxicants, hashish and methamphetamine.

The suspect had resisted arrest but the officers managed to control him. They referred him with the confiscated items to the concerned authorities for necessary legal action. The department affirmed that those who carry out any actions that affect the security of the country, as well as those who are involved in smuggling and peddling of drugs will be arrested.
