Criminal Investigation Department Unraveled The Death Mystery Of Two Siblings

Detectives from the Criminal Investigation Department have unraveled the mystery of two siblings, 5 and 7 years old respectively, who died in their family house in Ishbiliya area recently.

The children are believed to have died after inhaling pesticide the father sprayed inside their room while they were sleeping. All belongings of the deceased children have since been referred to Forensics for examination to determine traces of the chemical.

A security source said detectives detained the father for questioning as part of the investigation procedures, and he confessed that around 11:00am on Sunday, he went to the children’s room to spray the insecticide because it was infested with cockroaches.

Experts visiting the scene for further investigation recovered a pesticide container and took some belongings of the children for examination.

Earlier, the Operations Room of the Interior Ministry received information that the man tried to revive the children when he found their lifeless bodies on the floor.

They were pronounced dead in Farwaniya Hospital and Criminal Evidences Men claimed the bodies for autopsy. Some relatives questioned said the children were found unconscious at the entrance of the family house, and nobody knows what happened to them. The housemaid was also questioned alongside the deceased children’s parents to determine circumstances of their death.
