Criminal Court Acquitted Vice Principal Who Was Accused In Taking Bribe From Parent

24 December 2016 Crime News

The Criminal Court acquitted the vice principal of a high school who was accused of receiving bribe from a parent to help his son pass the exams. According to the case file, the Public Prosecution accused the first suspect (the vice principal), in his capacity as a government employee, of asking and taking bribe from the second defendant (the parent), after the first suspect allegedly claimed to be in charge of the examination control room and having the authority to help the son of the second suspect. Representing the first suspect was Lawyer Fareeh Al-Kouh, who stressed that his client had denied the charges leveled against him from the beginning. He insisted that the case lacks substantial evidence to prove the allegation of forgery and bribe against his client, adding that the parent maliciously accused his client. The court acquitted the first and the second suspects from all charges.
