Criminal Court Acquitted A Kuwaiti For Sexual Assault And Blackmail

The Criminal Court acquitted a Kuwaiti man of sexual assault and blackmail, reports Al-Anba daily. The case file indicates a Kuwaiti woman in her 50s filed a lawsuit against a male compatriot accusing him of forcibly having sex with her after which he took nude photos and demanded her to pay him KD 7,000 to avoid a scandal.

Upon the consent of the court, the defense lawyer managed to get a report from a telecom company that proved that the defendant was present in a chalet with his family for three days.
