Police Nab Many People For Various Crimes In Raids Throughout Kuwait

Several people have been taken into custody by the police for various reasons, reports Al-Rai daily.

 

The daily said the police have detained one person for disobeying their orders to stop, while two women – one of them a divorcee and the other her sister – have been arrested for beating and insulting each other over disagreements over custody of the children.

Meanwhile, the Farwaniya security personnel have arrested an unidentified Kuwaiti who had been sentenced in absentia for failing to pay KD 3,000 debt and handed him over to the Sentences Enforcement Department.

In yet another incident police have arrested a Kuwaiti who was wanted by the Sentences Enforcement Department to serve a fouryear sentence. Police have also taken into custody two Kuwaitis who were fighting over car parking rights in Ahmadi and personnel from the Criminal Investigations Department have arrested on suspicion an unidentified person who was seen walking between the cars parked in an open area because earlier many car break-ins were reported from the place.
