8 People Died In A Horrific Accident

Eight people were killed in Kuwaiti in a horrific accident which happened early Monday (May 27) morning, according to Al Rai Arabic daily.

Kuwait Fire Service Directorate said that a freak accident earlier took place on the Kabad highway.

Five Kuwaiti citizens and one Saudi national were pronounced dead after sustaining critical injuries. Two other victims have yet to be identified. Another unidentified person suffered critical injuries.

The directorate said that onlookers who gathered to see a freak accident were hit by another car whose driver lost control due to high speed.

The bodies were transferred to the Directorate of Criminal Investigation and Forensic evidence. An inquiry is underway.
