Court Of Cassation Rejects Compensation For Bombing Victim
The Court of Cassation dismissed the appeal of a victim of Imam Al-Sadeq Mosque bombing for financial compensation for damages he suffered during the incident. The court affirmed that the situation was disastrous and the government did not establish any neglect in this regard. According to the case file, the plaintiff said he sustained injuries on the shoulder as confirmed by a preliminary medical report. However, there were contradictions in the reports concerning his condition, prompting referral of his file to the Forensics Unit at the Criminal Evidence Department to determine if there was an error in the diagnosis and evaluation of his condition.
