Court Issued 3 Verdict Of Polluting The Environment

The Criminal Court issued three verdicts over the past two months against seven people who were found guilty of polluting the environment, reports Al-Rai daily. The seven included drivers of sewage tanks, trucks carrying debris and managers of companies who have contributed in the pollution of soil and sea. The sentences ranged from three years imprisonment to a 20,000 dinars fine for each of the accused, while the Environment Public Authority has demanded 15 million dinars for damages.
