Court Has Rejected Petition To Release The Youngest Female Daesh Member

14 June 2017 Crime News

The Criminal Court has rejected petition to release the youngest female DAESH member whom the State Security Department accused of joining the outlawed group in Egypt. The court has since adjourned the case to August 8 for final presentations.

The Public Prosecution alleged the woman joined DAESH from 2015 to April 2017 and even encouraged other people to join the outlawed group with the intention of spreading the principles of ousting a legitimate authority through illegitimate means. She is reported to have carried out attacks against Egypt without the consent of Kuwaiti government.

The action was regarded as capable of causing face-off or diplomatic row between the two countries. She had gone to Sinai to assist in Jihad activities but couldn’t accomplish her mission following her arrest. She also abused the use of telephone through some calls she made with the intention of spreading DAESH ideology.
