Court Has Acquitted Two Kuwaiti Citizens Of Forging Official Documents

31 December 2017 Crime News

The Criminal Court has acquitted two Kuwaiti citizens who work as dataentry clerks in the Manpower Evaluation Department of the Public Authority for Manpower and were accused of forging official documents — the data of a commercial company. The Public Prosecution had accused them of tampering with the labor needs of the company, and changing the evaluation of a company in the system from four workers to 51 workers without any request presented to the authority. Lawyer Jarrah Al-Sharika, who was representing one of the defendants, affirmed that the investigations carried out by the arresting officer were inconclusive. He indicated that there might be an administrative error in the transaction and the possibility that one of the employees other than the accused might have used his client’s password to change the data of the company in question.
