Cour Acquitted A Kuwaiti Juvenile Who Was Accused Of Attacking Another Using A Cleaver

The Court of First Instance acquitted a Kuwaiti juvenile who was accused of attacking another using a cleaver which resulted in a permanent deformity in the victim. The Public Prosecution accused the suspect of beating the victim and causing injuries on the palm of his left hand, as specified in the medical report. It also accused him of abusing the victim publicly. During the court session, the plaintiff counsel Attorney Ismat Al-Kharboutli insisted that the complaint against her client is malicious and the testimonies of the victim are contradicting.
