717 New Infections In Kuwait , Total 73785 , 3 Deaths

The Ministry of Health announced 717 new coronavirus infections, raising the total to 73,785 while 4 deaths were reported raising the number fatalities to 489. The new cases include 470 Kuwaiti citizens, or 66.55 percent, and 274 non-Kuwaitis, or 34.45 percent, he said. He stated that the infections were broken down according to the areas, with 187 cases in the Ahmadi, 154 cases in Farwaniya, 154 cases in Hawalli, 122 cases in Al-Jahra, and 100 cases in the Capital.

Of the overall cases, 117 patients are in intensive care units and 7,845 people are receiving due medical treatment, Dr. Al-Sanad added. Medical teams conducted 4,397 swab tests in the past 24 hours, raising total swabs since the outbreak of the virus to 543,858. Earlier today, the Health Ministry announced the recovery of 692 people from the virus, taking the total up to 65,451.
