Coronavirus - 53,578 Cases And 4,825 Deaths In Italy

A day after Italy overtook China in Coronovirus cases, the European nation reported 793 deaths and 6557 new cases on Saturday, taking the total cases to 53,578. The deadly virus is spreading rapidly in Italy and recorded highest number of deaths in a single day.

While the efforts of Italy regime aren't working to contain the corono deaths, the total number of deaths raised to 4825. Till Saturday, 6072 citizens of Italy have recovered from Covid-19 and 2,857 people are currently getting treated in intensive care.

The hospitals, medical centers, intensive care units are struggling to offer complete support with massive jump in number of cases. To curb the cases Italy has lockdown its cities and shut down cafes, pubs, restaurants, gyms and other venues from Friday evening.

The global epidemic has infected more than 304,544 people worldwide and killed more than 13,974.
