Cops Have Arrested 3 Fishermen For Beating Up Marine Control Employee
Police have arrested the three fishermen who were wanted by law for beating the employees of the Public Authority for Agricultural Affairs and Fisheries Resources (Maritime Control Department), reports Al-Rai daily.
Earlier it was reported that during an inspection tour of Kuwait’s Bay, patrolmen saw a man fishing illegally in a banned area. Seeing the officers, the man escaped and they pursued him until he got off the boat and escaped on land.
He allegedly returned to his boat with two other men armed with batons and assaulted the marine personnel, inflicting injuries on them and escaped. The arrest came after the victims filed a case with the area police station.
