Cops Arrested A Two Man Gang For Exploiting Runaway Domestic Workers For Immoral Activities
Officers from the Residency Affairs Department arrested a two-man gang for exploiting runaway domestic workers for immoral activities at different flats in Farwaniya area. The two suspects, an Arab man and his Asian accomplice, are said to have supplied domestic workers to clients on wages.
Acting on information, a team of detectives was assigned to verify authenticity of the report before raiding the flats. Guarded by warrant from the Public Prosecution, the officers apprehended 41 Ethiopians. They discovered all suspects had violated residency law with absconding cases registered against them by their respective sponsors. They were referred to concerned authorities for necessary action.
