Cooperative Societies Are Under Moh
The Health Conditions Committee of the Council of Ministers and its field teams have intensified their campaigns on cooperative societies and their branches in different regions to monitor the extent of compliance with health requirements.
Responsible sources in the cooperative sector told Al-Qabas that the committee has set a set of conditions to be applied within the societies, starting with preventing any form of crowding, reducing the number of workers behind Kashiri, and continuously examining market leaders and workers through the use of heat devices and sterilizing the markets on a continuous basis.
The sources indicated that the committee requested the placement of floor stickers specifying the distance between the customer and the other, as well as the continuous sterilization of shelves, entrances and exits, K-net devices and the separation of the cashier area so that there is a space of not less than two meters between the employee and the other.
Â
And she continued: There is a general commitment from the cooperative societies to the requirements that are required to be applied, and in the event that any violation is found, a notice is given to amend it immediately and then to examine again the violating establishment.
Â
Regarding the presence of congestion in some central markets, the sources indicated that any violating facility is closed immediately in the event that there is congestion inside it, whether associations or others, and this is what happened in some barbershops and women's institutes during the past few days.
Â
Cancel a violating project
Â
The Undersecretary for the Cooperation Sector at the Ministry of Affairs, Salem Al-Rashidi, canceled a charitable project contrary to one of the cooperative societies that announced a project entitled "Charity" worth two dinars and 445 fils to buy food baskets containing supplies.
Â
Al-Qabas sources informed that the procedure regarding the project came immediately from the agent Al-Rashidi after the association announced that it would allow the donation to buy food baskets for distribution to the needy in the country, which violates the laws and regulations of cooperative societies, and therefore the project was canceled immediately.
