Compulsory Home Quarantine For 72 Hours For All Arrivals

At its meeting today, Monday, the Council of Ministers approved the imposition of home quarantine on all those returning from travel. The Government Communications Center stated that the quarantine will be for 72 hours if two PCR tests are committed, and for 10 days if one PCR test is performed.

He added that the council decided to obligate all incoming travelers to submit a negative PCR examination result before arriving in Kuwait no more than 48 hours from the date of the examination instead of 72 hours.

The council decided to consider those who received the second dose 9 months ago are not immunized unless they receive the booster dose.

Citizens and residents expressed great satisfaction with the decision of the Council of Ministers to be satisfied with the home quarantine for a period of 72 hours only for those returning from traveling from abroad after conducting a PCR examination, stressing that this step contributes to not confusing vacation and vacation plans, and not disrupting business
