Civil Servant In Kuwait Gets 7 Years For Forging Sick Leave

According to a Kuwaiti newspaper, a civil servant received seven years in prison for submitting forged sick leaves to her workplace.

A Kuwaiti national was ordered to pay a bail of KD500 to stay outside prison pending an appeal by the Criminal Court, according to Al Qabas.

By virtue of the forged sick leave, the defendant was also fined the equivalent of 19 days' pay, the work value of the days she stayed at home.

As of yet, it is unclear when the case was exposed.
