Civil Information Calls For 200,000 Cards Ready

Arabic local newspaper Alrai reported that The Public Authority for Civil Information denied reports about the existence of a study to destroy 200,000 citizens and expatriate cards who did not come to collect them despite the lapse of more than 3 months after their completion.

The Director of Public Relations and Media at the authority, Ahmed Al-Sabr, told that the machines of the authority in its headquarters and branches in Al-Jahra and Al-Ahmadi are full of completed civil cards, which took a great effort from the authority’s employees to complete them during their work in the circumstances of the Corona crisis and the lack of numbers and the large health measures taken by the authority To protect its employees and auditors whose daily number exceeds a thousand.

Al-Sabr indicated that the authority calls on cardholders, citizens and residents, to quickly apply for their cards from 9 am to 10 pm, to allow the authority to fill in machines again.
