Civil Information And Investment Promotion: A Memorandum Of Understanding To Link With The “my Identity” Platform
The Public Authority for Civil Information and the Direct Investment Promotion Authority signed today, Sunday, a memorandum of understanding aimed at strengthening cooperation and direct linkage with the “My Identity” application platform, within the framework of permanent cooperation between government agencies.
The memorandum also aims to activate electronic services and automate the internal procedures of the Direct Investment Promotion Authority.
On the sidelines of the signing of the Memorandum of Understanding, the Director General of “Direct Investment Promotion” Sheikh Dr. Meshaal Jaber Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah praised in a press statement the role of “civil information” and its keenness to harness its capabilities for government and private agencies to benefit from their electronic services.
Sheikh Dr. Mishaal Al-Jaber added that this step comes as a continuation of the efforts made by the Kuwait Direct Investment Promotion Authority for digital transformation.
For his part, the Director General of “Civil Information” Musaed Al-Asousi stressed in a similar statement the authority’s keenness to harness all its capabilities and services and to place them within the reach of various government agencies and private sector institutions.
Al-Asousi added that the application of “My Identity” is one of the important applications in the State of Kuwait to complete all transactions, especially after it has been officially approved by the Council of Ministers, indicating that the Direct Investment Promotion Authority is one of the first government agencies to rely on this application.
He pointed out that the number of application users is constantly increasing, reaching more than 1.5 million users so far.
