Civil Aviation To Moh: Reducing The Home Quarantine For Arrivals To 7 Days

Arabic local newspaper Aljarida reported that The General Administration of Civil Aviation suggested the Ministry of Health to reduce the quarantine period in Kuwait for those coming from Kuwait International Airport to 7 days instead of 14 days.

The Director of the General Administration of Civil Aviation M. Yousef Al-Fawzan, in the text of the proposal addressed to the Undersecretary of the Ministry of Health, is referring to the proposal of the Kuwait International Airport Restarting Committee to reduce the quarantine in Kuwait for arrivals so that it is 7 days instead of 14 days that are currently applied while preserving health requirements, the most important of which is the PCR certificate for all arrivals to Kuwait If this proposal is approved, it will be a good economic incentive for airlines and reduce their losses due to the importance of this sector towards restoring the economic cycle in Kuwait towards the right path.

Al-Fawzan added in the proposal presented yesterday that the countries of the region cancel or reduce the quarantine periods in the event of the presence of a “PCR” certificate, calling for knowledge and information to be taken.
