The Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA) has asked the Council of Ministers to increase the capacity at Kuwait International Airport for incoming flights, Al Anbaa daily reported.

In a letter addressed by the DGCA, M. Youssef Al-Fawzan to the Secretary-General of the Council of Ministers, it stated that currently 7,500 passengers per day are allowed on incoming flights to Kuwait International Airport, and given the Cabinet’s decision to open entry to Kuwait from several countries by the health requirements issued in this regard, DGCA requested to allow an increase in the capacity of passengers on incoming flights to accommodate the increasing demands from airlines and to develop a plan for it without delay.
