Citizen Facing Trial For Setting Fire To Palace Of Justice Gate

A Kuwaiti man accused of setting fire to a gate of the Palace of Justice surrendered to police. The 44-year-old man, who is known by initials RY and was earlier working with a military institutions before he was sacked, is now facing trial in the court. He surrendered to police after the General Directorate for Criminal Investigation launched an inquiry to identify the arsonist who set fire to the gate of the Palace of Justice in Kuwait City last Friday.

The officers identified the man and chased him which led him to surrender to the Capital Prosecution. Investigation revealed that he has a criminal record for his involvement in several drug cases. He was also convicted of deliberately setting fire to government establishments.
