Citizen Convicted Of Joining DAESH Group Has Appeal Rejected

The Court of Cassation rejected the appeal submitted by a Kuwaiti citizen who was sentenced to five-year imprisonment with hard labor after being convicted of joining DAESH and attempting to bomb Imam Zain Al-Abideen Mosque and Salmiya Police Station, reports Al- Qabas daily.

Meanwhile, the Ministers Court has set the session of Nov 27 for the trial of former health minister Dr Ali Al-Obeidi, former undersecretary and assistant undersecretary of Ministry of Health as well as the manager of a foreign company in a case of squandering public funds.
